and ancient waters become one with new currents

So too tradition, flows into modernity

If dignity were a cloak, it would fit him well.

Not the loud dignity of titles and achievements,

but the kind that comes from honoring both heritage and possibility,

the kind earned through consistency, through integrity,

old values, even in a new time
