Kesha
Naming and claiming, needs, wants and desires
binding and loosing, people and systems
that stand in her way
Fervent even in slience that change will come,
and tomorrow will be better
just as the man of God says it will be
So Here she kneels at the edge of a season
made long by strife of bandits and strikes of professors
So that school breaks separated not days and weeks
but years and seasons and three years became five
But here she is at the gates of tomorrow
daring to believe that dream job will come and change in short order
and so she prays.
